College Students

Budget Worksheet — In School

Develop a budget to help manage your money while still in college.

Having trouble making ends meet? Try this worksheet — It can help you manage the money you have to meet your educational expenses.

Simply print the form and then fill in the information to get an idea of how much money you have to spend on each item for a given period of time.

Be sure to think about how much time you want to budget for. For instance, if you're planning a budget for a four-month semester, use salary information for four months. And if you're planning for an entire year, be sure to include the award money you expect to receive for the entire year, not just for one semester.

Thinking about changing your living situation — like getting an apartment or transferring to a different school, for instance? Check around to see what fees and extra expenses you'll face.
